This cake was my travelling cake experiment. I took it on a 6 hour train ride from Toronto to Windsor (delays, delays). The cake held up well though and only the piece of fondant with the ribbon slipped. No big difference to the overall effect, although I was concerned that the chocolate would melt and we'd end up with a pile of molten goo. In hindsight, this was a risky design for a rough and bumpy ride, but tried, tested and true... this cake came through with flying colours. Mother-to-be was delighted and to quote Daddy-to-be, "This cake is RIDICULOUS! It's ridiculous how awesome this cake is!"
